It Began With a Tent
In 1987, in Vacoas, Feroze Rambocus and his brothers began with a handful of small tents and one gentle conviction: every family deserves a beautiful place to celebrate. They pitched them by hand for weddings and religious gatherings across the island, one courtyard and one garden at a time.
Word travelled the way it always has in Mauritius, from one family table to the next. Before long the tents were dressed in drapery, flowers and soft light, and a small tent business quietly became a house of décor.
Nearly four decades on, the name above the door is the same, and so is the promise.

In 2012 the house passed to Feroze’s son and daughter. They kept everything that mattered, the family’s warmth, its craftsmanship and its word, and gently reinvented the rest.
Under their direction, F.Rambocus Events has grown into a modern events house: international clients and destination weddings, corporate galas, concerts, festivals and hotel events, and the grand, many-day weddings Mauritius is famous for. Full wedding planning sits alongside a complete rental collection of marquees, tents, sound, lighting and event equipment.
Still family. Still Vacoas. Still pitching every tent with care, only now a great deal bigger.
